I Noticed right before Easter that Avery had a low grade temp. He was seen by his pediatrician;but turned out to be nothing...as you will see in the months ahead,this was just the beginning of Avery's inability to regulate his body temp...well I should say the recurrence of inability. You may remember he had issues as a new little preemie!Avery has also has been pale in his coloring.... He has had continued issues with seizures. We saw both the neurologist and the epilepsy specialist this month. The epilepsy specialist increased his medication, but thinks that his seizures are starting to change....he didn't want to make any drastic changes with medications, as we still have his neurologist prescribing his meds. Avery saw the neurologist and had an EEG within a weeks time of seeing the epilepsy doctor.

The EEG did show that Avery has mixed multi focal epilepsy. Our appointment with the neurologist is always interesting and educating(not sure Leif it educating for him or me...ha ha) he was not at all upset that I got a second opinion regarding Avery's seizures...he was rather pleased, as he believes that Avery's seizures will continue to change and having consulted with this specialist is a good thing. As the month went on Avery's seizures did not decrease; in fact they have been increasing; he was admitted to 9North..Children's neurology (“resort wing”) ......It was probably the nicest week of this spring....and as you will see the nicest this summer...and we were able to get outside...in the Garden!!! This week in April happened to be vacation week...so that worked out great...the kids didn't really miss school....

We spent Easter with family at our home after OUR Easter service in the morning! It was a beautiful day....Avery's meds had recently been changed so he slept a lot of the day!
