“We went through fire & water, but you brought us to a place of abundance---Psalm 66:12”
My Honey and me....in front of the "Resort"
Avery return to Children's!!!!
Avery was fitted for his AFO's /benik jacket (his trunk...body)and McKee Splints(hand splints for day time)....the end of last month...I forgot that tidbit... :(.
The beginning of the month....His vision therapist has brought a “New Little room”....he has responded well with it when we have been able to use it!
The nurses have now been coming about a month and we have 3 steady nurses that have been a huge blessing to ALL of us:)
It wasn't until the beginning of this month that I finally spoke to the epilepsy team about the plan for Avery's seizures/medications ....and that was after I had contacted the neurology team ...asking what was going on....They know were I stand NOW and that taking almost 2 weeks to contact me about my sons treatment plan is totally unacceptable...they re-assured me that this would never happen again. I shared with them an update in regards to Avery's feeding intolerance's. Avery's medications were changed....and a plan was in place for increasing one med while decreasing the other medication.
Low grade temps/coloring remain an issue an and I still have not received an appointment from immunology!!
Continued feeding issues and seizures, along with noticing a lot of upper air way congestion!
We worked really hard to get him to tolerate his feeds at home...but vomiting/gaging/coughing ....become an increasingly difficult issue to handle at home....when he has now started to loose weight!
SO....Back in the “Resort....aka....Children's Hospital “.....We are on “Our resort Favorite
Floor...9 East”
At Children's doing some writing.....that's my girl!
Kisses from the sister!
I will now be posting e-mails/updates that I had sent out in the beginning of our stay here ...and in no time at all ....I will have the latest updates for you all...including Avery's Birthday Pictures of his 1 year Celebration!
We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose---Romans 8:28... This was my devotion verse for our first day of our hospitalization!!
